ALMA dining table
A circular dining table conceived as a refined reinterpretation of the farm table – inspired by and thoughtfully designed for the rituals of domestic life. The radiating walnut top introduces a subtle geometric pattern, while a handmade glazed ceramic disc is fixed at the centre to provide a resting place for communal dishes, encouraging shared meals and conversation.
Though the table reads as a single piece of solid timber, it is engineered for longevity and stability. A plywood core with thick walnut veneer and a solid walnut perimeter prevents seasonal movement in the wood, while a solid walnut base ensures strength. The result is a table resistant to the fluctuations of temperature and humidity – a reinvention of the farm table for the modern family.
